Shimano completes their Dura-Ace aero groupset with its first carbon triathlon/TT brake lever. These levers are a cross between the Profile Design Quick Stop and SRAM's carbon brake levers. However Shimano has raised the bar with three key features:

  • Grip : The brake lever is ergonomic and doesn't taper to an uncomfortable point such as other levers on the market
  • Return spring : Shimano has put an extremely durable and strong return spring in the levers. The end result is a better braking power and more pressure when you are applying the brake itself
  • Light! : At 88 grams for the set, Shimano has designed one of the lightest carbon reverse brake lever on the market.
